About Spark Post Office
My name is Katie, and I’m the owner of Spark Post Office.
Spark Post Office was created from a simple idea to bring a little bit of screen-free magic, curiosity, and connection back into children’s lives through the joy of receiving real letters in the mail.
I wanted to create something that felt special. Not just another activity, but something kids could look forward to, hold onto, and come back to again and again. Each set is thoughtfully designed to be beautiful, engaging, and meaningful, with artwork created by a real illustrator, and themes that spark imagination and learning.
With a background in the mental health field (and having two young kids myself!), it was important to me that Spark Post Office also supports children’s emotional wellbeing. Childhood can be full of big feelings, and I wanted to gently weave in tools that help children build confidence, self-awareness, and calm.
That’s where our collectable wellbeing cards come in. Each letter set includes carefully designed cards with simple, practical activities to help children regulate emotions, feel grounded, and develop lifelong skills.
I’ve also been intentional about creating a range of themes to suit different interests, so every child can find something that excites them, whether they love space, nature, storytelling, or imaginative worlds. I have started small and hope to grow the range to include lots of interest areas!
Our Space Explorer and Australian Native Fairies letter sets were brought to life by the incredibly talented illustrator Shaili Malla, whose work captures the wonder and warmth at the heart of Spark Post Office.

At its core, Spark Post Office is about connection — slowing down, creating moments of joy, and helping children feel inspired, capable, and supported as they grow.

We suggest ages 3-12 will best enjoy the letters. Younger kids may need more guidance and assistance to read the letters and practice the wellbeing techniques alongside them, but it is a wonderful way to connect.

We currently post Australia-wide, and postage is included in the cost of the letters.

The letters themselves are not personalised, but the envelope will be. Siblings can absolutely share a letter set! Just make sure to add all names when ordering.

Monthly letters are posted in the first couple of days of each month, and can take 1-2 weeks to arrive after posting.

Each set is different! Stella the space explorer teaches all about the places she visits, with real world space facts. The Fairies each teach about an Australian native plant or flower from across the country.
And each letter set comes with a set of themed cards with techniques to improve confidence, calm and regulation.

Absolutely! Spark Post Office (and Stella and the Fairies) absolutely love receiving return letters.
It can be a great way to teach kids about how the postal system works, in a world where we don’t use it as often anymore!
